About Position Note

Position Note is where I document what I'm actually doing in the market: what I'm buying, why I bought it, what my target is, and what I got wrong when I miss.

I started trading in 2012 with Forex. Spent two years figuring it out part time, then went full time in 2014. I wasn't consistently profitable right away. I kept at it while working other jobs on the side. Found my footing in crypto scalping around 2017, focused there until 2020, then moved into equities with a focus on small caps. Picked up futures day trading in 2023 and have been at it full time since. Started adding swing and position trades to the mix in 2024.

No finance degree. No certifications. No professional background on Wall Street. Everything I know came from 13 years of putting real money on the line and learning from what happened.

My current focus is futures day trading alongside a growing swing and position portfolio. My biggest open trade right now is Bloom Energy. I bought 99 shares at $87.75 in December 2025. It's up over 200% and I'm still holding it. That's the kind of trade Position Note is built around: finding the right entry, having conviction, and staying patient.

My edge isn't a secret formula. It's simple: markets trend up over time. I'm not here to outsmart everyone on every trade. I'm here to follow the trend, size my positions correctly, take my losses small, and let my winners run. Long game, not a get rich quick scheme.

I built Position Note to document this journey publicly, and eventually, to build toward launching my own fund. The track record builds in public. That matters.

I'm based in New Jersey. Outside of trading I spend time with my family, cook, wakeboard, snowboard, and keep up with everything happening in AI.

Every position I write about is disclosed. Every loss gets written up. Nothing here is personalized advice. It's just what I'm doing and why.
