Friday Consensus
The Friday Consensus: 37 Videos, 69 Names, 2 Agreed
Disclosure: As of September 2, 2026, I hold positions in $AMZN, $INTC, $META, and $MSFT, all of which come up below. This is not personalized investment advice. See full disclaimer below.
6 channels posted 37 stock videos this week and named 69 different stocks between them. Only 2 of those names got the same buy call from 3 or more channels.
The counting is simple. Every week I go through the picks side of finance YouTube and log every buy or sell call with the video it came from and the date, the same way I track hedge funds during 13F season. A name only makes the crowd list when 3 different channels land on the same side of it, and 1 channel saying it 5 times still counts as 1.
The Crowd
$AMZN and $NVDA were the only 2 names 3 channels agreed on, and both were buy calls. Amazon came up in Financial Education (Jeremy Lefebvre)'s "Top 5 Stocks I have the Most Money Invested" on August 28, in ZipTrader's "Peter Thiel Just Bet $419M On This" on August 31, and in Parkev Tatevosian, CFA's "My Top 10 Stocks to Buy Right Now in September" on September 2. Not one of those was an Amazon video.
Nvidia got there a different way. Akshat Shrivastava brought it up in "Is India's 7.8% GDP Fake? (If yes, how it impacts your investments?)" on September 2 and Joseph Hogue in "Who's Right? Dividends vs High Return Investing" on August 29, but the volume came from Parkev Tatevosian, CFA, who called Nvidia in 5 videos between September 1 and September 3, 3 of them his Nvidia deep dives. So the count says 3 channels and the tape says 1 guy with a series.

Here's the part worth knowing. All 6 channels this week were big ones, over 500K subscribers each, and not a single mid-sized channel (100K to 500K) or small channel (under 100K) landed a call. The check I want is a big channel and a small one landing on the same name on their own, and there was none of it, so the agreement here is worth less than it looks.
All stances in this series are reported from each creator's public videos, not endorsed. Position Note tracks the crowd; it does not offer personalized investment advice.
The Rotations
One name flipped this week and it was Nvidia, from the same person pushing it hardest. Parkev Tatevosian, CFA was bullish in "Why Is Everyone Talking About Nvidia Stock? NVDA Stock Deep Dive Part 2" on September 1, then bearish inside "Is Qualcomm an Undervalued Semiconductor Stock to Buy Right Now? | QCOM Stock Analysis" on September 2, then bullish again in 3 videos across September 2 and September 3.
The bearish call is the only 1 of the 5 that came in a video about a different company. Same channel, same day, opposite call, and what changed was whose stock the video was selling. I log the video title next to every call for exactly this reason.
Off the Radar
That leaves 67 names carried by only 1 or 2 channels, which is where the less obvious stuff lives. ZipTrader named 5 power and utility companies in one shot on August 31 in "Peter Thiel Just Bet $419M On This": $AEP, $CMS, $DTE, $FE, and $VST. Joseph Hogue did the same with defense on September 2 in "If You Missed the AI Stock Boom. This is Far Bigger.", naming $LHX, $LMT, $RTX, $MRCY, and $DCO. Neither counts as agreement, it's 1 channel each, but a whole sector arriving at once is worth writing down.
Parkev Tatevosian, CFA carried almost the entire bearish side by himself. He was negative on $INTC and $AMD inside that September 1 Nvidia deep dive, and negative on $MRVL in "Best Semiconductor Stock to Buy: Marvell Stock or Qualcomm Stock? | MRVL Stock vs. QCOM Stock" on September 3. He was also the only channel with a call on $MSFT, bullish, in "Is it Too Late to Buy Microsoft Stock? | MSFT Stock Analysis" on September 2.
Three other names had channels on opposite sides. Financial Education (Jeremy Lefebvre) was bullish on AMD on August 28 while Parkev was bearish on September 1. Joseph Hogue was bullish on $COIN on September 1 and bullish on Marvell on August 27 in "BUY HEAVY! Marvell Technology (MRVL) Earnings Analysis", and Parkev sat on the other side of both. $META came closest to a third crowd name at 2 channels, Financial Education on August 28 and Parkev twice, in "Massive News for Meta Stock Investors" on August 28 and his September 2 top 10 list.
Next week I want to see whether a mid-sized or small channel gets on the board at all. Two weeks of nothing but big channels would tell me more about my own list than about the market.
