Friday Consensus
The Friday Consensus: 18 Videos, 42 Names, 0 Agreed
Disclosure: As of September 2, 2026, I hold positions in $BE, $META, $MSFT, and $ORCL, all of which come up below. This is not personalized investment advice. See full disclaimer below.

8 channels posted 18 stock videos this week and named 42 different stocks between them. Not 1 of those names got the same call from 3 or more channels, which has not happened since I started this series in August.
The counting is simple. Every week I go through the picks side of finance YouTube and log every buy or sell call with the video it came from and the date, the same way I track hedge funds during 13F season. A name only makes the crowd list when 3 different channels land on the same side of it, and 1 channel saying it 10 times still counts once.
The Crowd
There's no crowd this week. The section that usually carries the issue is empty, and the empty board is the finding.
The closest any name came was Nvidia, and it got there by disagreement. Ticker Symbol: YOU was bullish on $NVDA in "I Got Rich Off NVIDIA. I'm Buying These Stocks Next." on August 31. Fin Tek went the other way on September 7 in "Michael Burry Just Bet on a $3 Trillion Financial Time Bomb", and MarketBeat (Bridget) was bearish too on September 8 in "Copper Just Hit an All-Time High. Is It Still Early?". 3 channels, 1 name, 2 sides.
Here's why the board came up empty, and it isn't the market. 1 channel, Joseph Hogue, put 20 of the 42 names up alone. The September 6 video there is titled "You Have 10 Days to Buy These 5 Stocks" and it names 12 different tickers, not 5. Agreement counts channels and not mentions, so 1 person covering half the board adds nothing to the crowd list.
Who showed up matters too. 5 of the 8 channels are big, over 500K subscribers, and the other 3 are mid-sized, between 100K and 500K. No small channel under 100K landed a call.
All stances in this series are reported from each creator's public videos, not endorsed. Position Note tracks the crowd; it does not offer personalized investment advice.
The Rotations
Nothing rotated this week. Nobody flipped direction on a name they had already called, and nobody backed out of one.
Off the Radar
With no crowd, the names carried by 2 channels are the most interesting thing on the board, and 3 of them pair a big channel with a mid-sized one. $IREN drew a buy call from Ticker Symbol: YOU in that August 31 video and another from Invest with Henry on September 8 in "IREN Wheel Strategy Options Explained | How I'll Make $5K In Premium This Week!". $CRWD and $PANW each drew one from Joseph Hogue on September 6 and one from MarketBeat (Bridget) on September 9 in "The 5 Most Upgraded Stocks This Quarter (These Are SURGING)". A big channel and a mid-sized channel landing on the same name separately is the check I care about, and it's the closest thing to a signal this week produced.
2 names had channels sitting on opposite sides. Joseph Carlson After Hours was bullish on $ADBE and $LULU in "Michael Burry Keeps Buying This Stock" on September 8, and Joseph Hogue was bearish on both, Adobe on September 6 and Lululemon on September 7 in "Academy Sports + Outdoors Earnings (ASO) Danger". Same 2 names, same week, opposite calls.
That Hogue video put the whole retail group on the sell side, negative on $ASO and $DKS alongside Lululemon. Parkev Tatevosian, CFA ran a head to head on September 4 in "Should Investors Buy Microsoft Stock Instead of Apple Stock? | MSFT Stock vs. AAPL Stock", bullish on $MSFT and bearish on $AAPL. Joseph Carlson After Hours was bullish on Microsoft too, on September 3 in "Something Has Gone Terribly Wrong", which makes Microsoft the only name with 2 big channels on the same side.
The mid-sized channels stayed in their own lane. Fin Tek put out 4 sell calls in 1 video on September 7, negative on Nvidia, $ORCL, $QQQ, and $SOXX in that Michael Burry video, then called $IONQ a buy 2 days later in "GET IN EARLY! Top Quantum Computer Stock to BUY NOW". Invest with Henry was alone on $BE in "Bloom Energy Stock Could EXPLODE, Here's My Strategy (BE)" on September 1, and Financial Education (Jeremy Lefebvre) was alone on $META, $AMD, and $CELH in "Investing $1,000,000 in this stock" on September 4.
What I want to know next week is whether this was a quiet week or a thin list. 18 videos is half of the 37 I logged last week, and when the video count drops the overlap drops with it. An empty board 2 weeks running would be my list, not the market.
