The Friday Consensus: 42 Names, 0 Agreed, 2 Weeks Running

4 channels posted 11 stock videos this week and named 42 different stocks between them. Not 1 of those names got the same call from 3 or more channels, which makes 2 weeks in a row the board has come up empty.

Here's how the counting works. Every week I go through the picks side of finance YouTube and log every buy call and sell call with the video it came from and the date, the same way I track hedge funds during 13F season. A name only makes the crowd list when 3 separate channels land on the same side of it, and 1 channel repeating itself 4 times still counts once.

The Crowd

No crowd again, and the channel count explains most of it. Only 4 channels put out picks videos I could log, and all 4 are big ones, over 500K subscribers. Nobody mid-sized between 100K and 500K showed up, and no small channel under 100K did either.

With 4 channels on the board, agreement means 3 of them hitting the same stock the same way in the same week, a hard bar when 1 of the 4 posted a single video. 2 names got as far as 2 channels. Chris Sain called $AMD a buy on September 10 in "I'm Buying $25K of This Stock - ASAP" and Financial Education (Jeremy Lefebvre) called it a buy on September 16 in "I Spent $100,000 on this 1 Stock Today". $APLD was the other, a buy from Sain in that same September 10 video and a buy from ZipTrader on September 16 in "BUY HEAVY! The Next 30 Days Will Change Lives."

1 channel did most of the talking. ZipTrader put 22 of the 42 names on the board by itself across 3 videos, and 10 of those came out of a single cybersecurity list on September 13 called "If You Missed Palantir, THIS IS BIGGER." Agreement counts channels and not mentions, so half the board from 1 account adds nothing.

The Rotations

1 creator made 4 calls on 1 stock in 8 days and switched sides twice. Financial Education (Jeremy Lefebvre) was a buyer of AMD on September 9 in "NEW stock I bought today", a buyer again on September 11 in "AMD & Celsius shareholders BIG NEWS", then a seller of it the same day, September 11, in "This Stock could change a life". By September 16 he was buying it again.

The buy and the sell both landed on September 11, in 2 different videos. Anyone watching that channel for AMD got 3 buy calls and 1 sell call in 8 days, with nothing in the videos to say which one counted.

Off the Radar

With no crowd, almost the whole board is 1 channel deep. ZipTrader worked 2 themes. September 13 was cybersecurity, with buy calls on $CRWD, $PANW, $ZS, $FTNT, $NET, $OKTA, $S, $RBRK, and $RDWR in 1 video. September 10 was quantum and chips in "The Last EASY Trade Before It Explodes", with buy calls on $IONQ, $QBTS, $RGTI, $GFS, and $IBM, and the September 16 video added $QCOM, $ORCL, and $CRWV alongside Applied Digital.

Chris Sain's September 10 video carried 8 names on its own: AMD, Applied Digital, $ASML, $INTC, $META, $NFLX, $PLTR, and $WULF. On September 13 he went to funds, with buy calls on $QQQM, $VTI, and $VXUS in "This 1 Stock Will Soar Now" and $SCHD in "Here Are the Only Top 4 ETFS to Hold for Life", plus 1 small name in $RDW.

Lefebvre spent most of the rest of his week on consumer brands. He had buy calls on $CELH on September 9, September 11, and September 16, on $ELF on September 11 and September 16, and on $CAKE on September 16, plus a sell call on $RH on September 11. Parkev Tatevosian, CFA posted once all week, on September 17, and it was a buy call on $IP in "International Paper Stock: Buy or Sell in September?" It's the only name on the board I would not have guessed from the headlines.

The small channels are what's actually missing. Under 100K subscribers is usually where a name lands here before it's everywhere, and not 1 showed up. 11 videos is also the thinnest week I've logged, down from 18 last week and 37 the week before, and 2 empty boards in a row on a list this short looks more like my list than the market. Next week I'm watching the channel count before I watch the names.
